Parents & Students,
Welcome back to another exciting school year! I am sure that you are all aware that our school is in a transition phase as portables are completed and classrooms are prepared. As such, we ask for your patience over the next few weeks.
I really enjoyed the day today and getting to know these kids. This is a great group and we are going to have a fantastic year!
A few items of business:
1. Please go onto the website www.remind.com. Once there, enter the class code @mrjhill. Once you've done that you can register with either your email address or cell phone number. By doing this, I will be able to send messages and reminders instantly to your smart phones and keep you in the loop as to what's going on or expected in our class.
2. I've sent home a series of handouts for you today. The packet/envelope is all regarding our Waterton Camping Trip (Sept. 15-17, 2014). This is going to be a great trip and all the information that you need is included in those sheets. Please make sure that all the white paper are signed and returned by Sept. 5th. Orange sheets can stay with you.
If there is ever anything that I can do to better help you or your child in their education goals this year and overall wellbeing in my classroom, please let me know and I will do it! It is an honour to be their teacher for this next year and I look forward to our time together!
